• Using Slicers instead of Filters

• Accessing the data values behind a PivotTable

• Expanding the Filters section to generate quick multiple PivotTables

• Generating a Pivot Table from more than one data set

Learn how to quickly create a PivotTable (or Chart) by letting Excel look at your data and recommend Pivots quickly. You will see alternative ways of setting your data up in order to create a PivotTable. How with multiple data tables you can link sheets together and combine them into a PivotTable. If you ever Filter PivotTables, Expanding the Filters section or using Slicers will show an alternative way to slice and dice your values.

Target audience

This webinar is aimed at people with some experience of using PivotTables although new users to PivotTables will also see the potential behind Pivots, if you are new to Pivots then learn to use the simplest way to summarise your data. Most users of Excel work with lists of data that are often sorted or filtered, so why not join this session and see what else you can do with your data.

Note: Your organisation licence agreement with Microsoft may not allow you to use these at work. However, if your organisation upgrades and rolls out new versions of MS Office then these functions may become available
