Meet Tia-Lily

What made you pursue a career in Digital Marketing?

I always wanted to find a career that challenged me both creatively and intellectually and I found Digital Marketing was the perfect option. I’m able to work intellectually by researching customer demographics and creating marketing strategies and then creatively through implementing strategies such as graphic design, website design, and video editing.

What achievement are you most proud of during your time as an apprentice?

My best achievement as an apprentice is qualifying with a Distinction! After facing some problems and having to re-write my entire portfolio to fit with a newer template I was worried when handing in my final project but to find out the hard work paid off was an amazing feeling.

How has your contribution to Amber Mountain Marketing resulted in a positive impact for the business?

Since joining Amber Mountain Marketing I’ve helped a lot of businesses on their journey to online growth. I previously worked with a local architect company and they wanted to create an online community that brought in a secondary income. After hearing what they wanted I went online and created then a private Facebook group called ‘All About House’ which was designed to provide inspiration, tips and lots of advice on house renovations

How has an apprenticeship changed your life and career?

Without my Digital Marketing apprenticeship I wouldn’t be a Team Leader at a marketing agency today. I’ve been able to learn the skills of marketing as well as valuable communication, organisation and management skills. All of these skills have proved to my managers that I’m suitable for a Team Leader role, which I never thought I’d be able to achieve by 20!!
